The Faux bookshelf wall paper is finally gone!!!

Since day one we have been dying to remove the faux book shelf wall paper that everyone could see from the road.  It was absolutely terrible.  Here is your before and after!

We also had a plain white dining room before, this room is still a work in progress.  We still need plates for the table and we need to move somethings around and add art work to the walls, but we are headed in the right direction.

We have also been replacing all the lighting in the house slowly but surely.  I saw this at the market on newcastle and knew exactly where it had to go.

Last but not least we added a chair to our spare bedroom and changed the flag out front to a Georgia flag because football season is right around the corner!!!!

The Start of a Beautiful Dining Room!

All I have done in here so far is paint, but this room was white before.  Not a crisp clean white, but more like a dingy cream...why anyone would do this I don't know but look at her before & after!  Our hallway is now beige not yellow, FYI.

I would like to thank Kari Mears for helping me with paint colors!  The bathroom is Balanced Beige - by Sherwin Williams (The rest of our house is painted in this color as well) and the bedroom is Amazing Grey - by Sherwin Williams.

The Spare Bedroom After

The spare bedroom, with furniture and the walls painted!  We also added blinds and curtains to this room.  I know my curtains don't go to the floor but those are the longest they make and I can't sew.  I still need pictures too, but you get the idea!

We also installed blinds to the 2 rooms in the front of the house today.  I am sick of people being able to watch our every movement from the road so it was time.  I installed all four of them myself and they look pretty awesome!  This weekend I am painting the dining room, which is in the bottom picture.  I am painting it Rainwashed by Sherwin Williams.  Pictures to follow

Our bathroom is still a work in progress but I am happy to get rid of the bright green!  Will post pictures tonight!  The towels match the curtain, but the picture really isn't showing that.  Still  need pictures in here too!

Busy Easter Weekend

We have been busy!!!

So now I can post pictures from our living room & kitchen.  I finally found our candle sticks & plates for the table.  we have also done some work outside so I will post that too :)

Lots of Painting & Picture Hanging!

This weekend consisted of lots of painting & picture hanging.  Barry also hung our new chandelier!  The living room will be done once I hang the pictures tomorrow so I won't be posting pictures of it yet, but it isn't yellow anymore!

I had to move the mirrors from the right wall to the left because the studs weren't spaced correctly on the other wall to hold the heavy mirror.  I was bummed because the mirrors look better close together, but they are too small to be done that way on that wall.  But I love them all the same!

Camie enjoying her area.  I don't like that rug there, but I am looking for one, and camie likes it :)
